Frequently Asked Questions

How much does FIT cost?

The only costs associated with FIT are Housing for the early move in charge ($25/ night) and dining option plans; campus housing and dining plans are optional. Those amounts will be added to your Fall semester bill; which will allow for you to use financial aid to cover those costs. However, there are no up-front out of pocket expenses for FIT.

*If you are enrolled in 12- 18 credit hours for the Fall semester (including your FIT course) then FIT will not impact your tuition costs.

What do I need to know before I arrive?

Before you arrive, we encourage all FIT participants to:

Complete your housing application and inform us if you want to move in early by July 12th

Ensure that you have registered for you cohort course

Log into canvas and access your FIT canvas course (available in August)

What are the meal options for FIT students?

The University offers an optional $100 declining balance package for students that can be used during the mini-fall term for FIT before the standard fall meal plan begins.
